Emergency Generator
Emergency generators are crucial
Power outages can have catastrophic consequences
Whether it concerns servers going offline at a data center, electrical equipment stopping in a hospital with life-threatening situations as a result, or a food producer whose production comes to a standstill: a reliable power supply is indispensable and vital. With an emergency generator, you significantly reduce the risk of power outages. ABATO Motoren produces, supplies and maintains emergency generators. An emergency generator is a reliable partner because it automatically switches on the moment the power fails. ABATO Motoren has therefore developed a number of unique features that enable the generators to start up and switch on when the moment arrives:
- Standard monthly automatic startup and operation of the generators for a specific time. If the generator does not function properly, we can resolve any malfunction in time.
- It is also possible to build a so-called silent generator/low-noise generator. These generators are extra quiet due to a sound-dampening housing and ensure that your generator does not cause noise pollution.
Standard range emergency generator of highest quality
An emergency generator does not have to be expensive. ABATO Motoren builds the generators of the standard range with Baudouin Power diesel engines. The advantages of the standard range with Baudouin.
- Solid and simple: An emergency generator does not need to run continuously but naturally only in emergency situations, so a good, quality but simple model suffices.
- Plaatsing, installatie, inbedrijfstelling en bediening is eenvoudig: Door samenwerking met elektro-installateurs en uitgebreide ervaringen van klanten met noodstroomvoorzieningen zijn de aggregaten perfect afgestemd.
Differences in emergency generators
ABATO Motoren supplies generators with different power outputs. In addition, we also assemble the generators with different engines and generators. For an engine, you can choose the Weichai or Moteurs Baudouin brand, and for a generator you can choose the Linz or Firstall brand, for example. Depending on your requirements, we can advise you on the best configuration. You can also generate a price indication yourself by using our convenient calculator.
The costs for an emergency generator range between €6,500 and €370,000, depending on multiple factors including power output. A higher power output means a larger engine and generator. Additionally, there are various options with which you can equip the generator based on your needs. ABATO Motoren supplies generators with power outputs from 18 kVA to 2500 kVA and possibly even higher upon request. The costs of an 18 kVA generator are around €6,500 and a 2500 kVA generator costs approximately €370,000. For a clearer cost indication, we recommend using our price calculator. Maintenance prices also depend on the generator’s power output. You can also consult our maintenance calculator for a price indication for maintenance.
An emergency generator is a generator used in an environment where there is no main power source or in an environment where power outages cannot be permitted. Fossil fuels are converted into electrical energy by combustion engines. Also read our comprehensive article about how an emergency generator works.
