Abato Motoren successfully participated in the Maritime Industry 2024 fair, which took place in May at the Evenementenhal Gorinchem. As a supplier of marine engines, Abato Motoren attracted considerable interest with the new Weichai Stage V engines that are certified based on EURO 6. Additionally, a Baudouin 12M26.3 Stage V engine was also exhibited.
Baudouin Stage V marine engines
The Baudouin Stage V marine engines from 600 hp to 1650 hp represent the latest generation of M26.3 common-rail engines. These engines are designed to meet the strictest European emission standards for inland navigation, providing a significant reduction in harmful emissions without compromising power or performance. The Baudouin Stage V engines combine advanced technologies such as improved fuel injection systems and optimized combustion processes, resulting in low fuel consumption and reliable operation under heavy conditions.
With their robustness and long service life, the Baudouin Stage V engines are ideal for various marine applications, from commercial shipping to industrial vessels. This range is also available in IMO3 configuration.
Weichai Stage V engines based on EURO 6
The Weichai Stage V engines, developed according to the strict EURO 6 emission standards, were newly presented at the fair. Abato Motoren has delivered many of these engines in Dutch shipping during the CCR2 era. The Weichai Stage V engines offer a drastic reduction in emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter and other harmful substances, without making concessions to power and efficiency. These engines are designed for maximum reliability and durability, resulting in lower operational costs and longer service life. The integration of EURO 6 standards makes the Weichai Stage V engines an environmentally friendly choice for a wide range of marine applications, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable shipping industry. The range of these engines varies from 102 hp to 551 hp.
