The Siyang engines are the most widely used lifeboat engines and comply with the extremely strict S.O.L.A.S. (Safety Of Life At Sea) requirements. The engines are also certified with the Wheelmark Certificate, issued by Det Norske Veritas. Below you will find an overview of the models. In addition to complete engines, ABATO Motoren also supplies original parts for Siyang. Are you looking for a high-quality marine diesel engine? Renowned lifeboat manufacturers such as Schat-Harding and Norsafe from Norway have been installing these two types for years, partly due to their operational reliability. These engines are also suitable for use in newbuild vessels. The two types of 28 hp and 41 hp are supplied as standard complete with ZF reverse gear.
